Get to know David Nalls, Associate Student Minister to Middle School
What I Do
I have the exciting task of helping middle school students think about God, His truths, and how all of this applies to their lives. While this is accomplished in a variety of ways, the two areas we continually emphasize are faithfully teaching God’s word and developing genuine relationships. We also strive to help parents be the spiritual leaders that God has designed them to be.
Fav Part of My Job
I love that fact that middle school students are so malleable. There is a quote taped to my computer monitor that reads, “The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible- and achieve it, generation after generation.” I consider it a privilege to walk along side students as they learn to achieve the impossible in God’s strength and for His glory.
Family Fact
I have been married to Melissa for eleven years. She’s my best friend and partner in ministry. We have a son named Dylan and a dog named Jamba. They are both cute and occasionally disobedient.
You Probably Didn’t Know
I once got chased by a hippopotamus in West Africa.
Guilty Pleasure
I enjoy spending time outdoors. I go hiking and backpacking every chance I get!
